Only one sim gets date calls
I have a household of 5 sims, but only one of them gets the calls for a date. I have Woohooer set to romance only with steady and with married sims only, but yet she still gets these calls even though she is married to another sim in the house. He never gets these calls, nor does the other adult in the house. She also gets gifts and letters in the mail. Is there a setting I missed?

Only one sim gets date calls
The date calls and gifts in the mail aren't coming from or controlled by Woohooer unless your sim is actually pursuing/having an affair (sounds like not). They really aren't part of the romance/attraction system either, they are much more random than that and were slapped onto the game with the Seasons patch because some EA developers thought we were all just dying to have this. They were very wrong.
Many of us have these things blocked by way of Shimrod's No Attraction Date Calls/Gifts mod hosted at The Sims Asylum. I can't quite tell from your post though if you also want them blocked or want more of them for your other sims. What I don't know of is any way to make them still happen but less randomly and more logically.

I posted in the Woohooer section because it has the romance settings as I mentioned.
I don't want this wife to get these date calls, especially when the other sims in the house do not. But I don't mind them in other games when the sims are single and looking. I am wondering why just this sim gets them when she's married and the other female sim (her daughter) is single.

Understood, but I don't know that there is a logical answer for that. It's EA's programming and there are apparently multiple elements of randomness to it. I would still vote for Shimrod's mod while playing this household, it could be removed while playing others.
Shimrod notes in his mod write-up that there seems to be a correlation between how many sims the actives know in town and how frequent the calls are. Does this one sim know more sims than the others? He also offers a "Fewer Calls" variety, in case that helps.

Yes, she is the town stylist so she knows practically everyone.

Oh sure, and now the husband starts getting date calls all of a sudden. Murphy's law. Maybe I *do* need that mod, LOL.

The date calls and gifts are actually controlled by Woohooer. Set your romance interaction level: Married to Partner and it should stop.

Really? I stand corrected, sorry for the misinformation. But wouldn't doing that make it awfully difficult for an occasional married sim to have an extramarital affair?Chain_Reaction post_id=65253 time=1554677487 user_id=2 wrote: The date calls and gifts are actually controlled by Woohooer. Yes it would. But you can still use Shimrods mod to turn off the Date Calls and gifts as that setting in Woohooer will only use them if the chance is above 0 percent.igazor wrote: ↑April 7th, 2019, 9:05 pmReally? I did that in the first post, Chain. Which is why I thought I missed some other setting, since only one sim was getting the calls and gifts. She's still getting 99% of them, like 5-10 a day. And he's getting 1 a day.KevinL5275 wrote: ↑April 5th, 2019, 11:10 pmI have Woohooer set to romance only with steady and with married sims only, but yet she still gets these calls even though she is married to another sim in the house.
I'll try changing the setting to something else, doing a reset, and then changing it back.
