Hi,pls help.
Changing gender preference doesn't affect when i launch my game again.
İ change my sims's gender preference and i save the game.but when i continue with my saved game,i see my sims gender preferences turn back former situation.what should i do?
And for example,im deactivate sims autonomy in the options but this is null.this doesnt affect the game.
What is the problem?

Each sim has two gender pref values, one for same gender and one for opposite. These values are fluid as sims interact with others, they do not stay static throughout gameplay.

So if a sim has let's say +3 for same gender and -1 for opposite gender, they are "slightly" gay or perhaps labeled as bi-curious but this can well change pretty quickly. If they have let's say -50000 for same gender and +50000 for opposite gender, they are straight and will likely never have enough interactions with other sims in their lifetime for that to change although the two values will fluctuate. If they have let's say +50000 for both values, then they are attracted to both genders and again that's not likely to change either. Values of 0 mean undecided and will likely never stay at 0 as sims interact with others.

May I ask what the sim's two values were and what you have changed them to?

For example,im adjusting my sim gender pref value for same genders as a value bigger than zero(+56) and for opposite gender a negative value(-45) but this go previous settings when i reopened the game(of course,im saving my game)
İ think the saving feature doesn't save these changes.This wasnt happening before and these values were static in advance
Could it be a conflict with kinky world mod by any chance?

Whoops! Talk about stumbling into the correct answer by accident, but am so glad you mentioned that you are have the KW mod in play.

The mod is not compatible with many NRaas mods and has its own way of doing things entirely, so this becomes an "all bets are off" kind of situation. When we talk about gender prefs here, we mean the ones built into the game and that can be revealed and changed by MasterController, also revealed by Tagger, etc., but not what the KW mod might be doing.

I'm afraid there is no support for games that have or have ever had that mod available here on this site. We would have to suggest that you seek guidance from the site that hosts it or its developer. But if you require assistance with an ongoing game that has never "seen" the KW mod, then of course we would be happy to assist on a new thread.

Well,i couldnt find a solution yet lol.but nevermind, i have another question.how can i decrease increasing rate of relationship bar?i know i can make this with nrass returner mod.but i cant figure out which option i need to select in this.
İm clicking nrass returner mod-->settings--->general--->i think i must select 'by tunable xml'--->but what now?
Do you have any idea what should i do after this?if you know please help igazor

Maybe I am not understanding the question, but there must be a million (okay, many thousand) things that cause sims' friendly relationships with each other to increase/decrease, all further affected by traits, LTRs, the Charisma skill and its challenges, attraction, etc. to the point where the rates become very different all over the place. I don't think a simple retuning adjustment is going to change all of them.

yes,i meant this.But isnt there any way to keep this relationship bar increasement more slowly?for example,i want my sims gain +2 point instead of +10 point when they talk with eachother or joking,hugging interactions and so on..they can be best friend easily without making so much effort.i dont want this
i had seen a tutorial related this nrass returner mod providing that,in different site(but i cant find it now)
There are so many options in 'by tunable xml' option to select but i dont remember which one was it.
