Kamasimtra skill, option to register as professional gone missing

Post by 14350 » December 10th, 2018, 3:23 am

I dont have the recent patch since when I tried to update to 1.67 my game wont work.
Ive got all EP except showtime and paradise island so my patch will be same to into future version.

It did work before when I first start using mods into my game, but as in I added more without realised its now gone and I also noticed that the woohooer scoring wasnt detected on the main page where you select your game.

Help me, anyone? and many thanks in advanced :D

Kamasimtra skill, option to register as professional gone missing

I had no trouble patching to 1.67 and never really played with mods before that.  So, I don't know if patch level could be affecting things.  With that said, 2 comments:

1)  The Woohooer Scoring module doesn't show up in that list of mods for me either.  I think that's normal.

2)  By default, a sim needs 1 point in the Kama Simtra skill in order to register as a professional.  The option to register can be toggled on and off, so check your Woohooer setting:

City Hall or computer>NRaas>Woohooer>Kama Simtra>Show Register As Professional>True

You can change the minimum skill level required to register as professional (again, the default is 1):

City Hall or computer>NRaas>Woohooer>Kama Simtra>Register As Professional: Skill Level>

Hmmm...this isn't listed in the Woohooer documentation here, but I would assume valid numbers are 0-10.

With all that in mind, does the sim you are trying to register have the minimum Kama Simtra skill level you have set in Woohooer options?

Note that the one point skill level required as TreyNutz mentions requires 5 notches (woohoos). Thus your intended to be working professionals, by default anyway, must "give it away" 5 times before they can register unless you have another way in play for them to learn the skill.  :)
