i want to make my home a community lot without leaving it.how can i manage it?

You want to convert their current Residential lot to a Community one? There's really only one way to do that, since under EA standard (without mods) sims cannot move into a community lot.

The household has to move out (thus selling the lot) or be placed onto another lot temporarily with MC > Add Sim. I keep at least one empty 10x10 residential lot in each world I play for such purposes. Retreat to Edit Town and convert the now unoccupied lot from Residential to Community. Then back in live mode, use MC to add them back to it. The relevant option needs to be unlocked first, NRaas > MC > Settings > Allow Add Sim on Community Lot > True (is False by default).

Note that your household will no longer have a mailbox, which makes certain things awkward and bills will still have to be paid somehow. What also works for many of us is for the sims to really "live" on a 10x10 Residential lot next door or very close by so they get a mailbox, but spend all of their time while being played actively on the also owned Community lot. That doesn't work as well if you rotate actively played households as the game will keep sending them home to the "wrong" place, so it depends how you intend to play this household going forward as to which way will work out better.

Going forward, you may also find Buzzler's Build/Buy Restriction Choker mod helpful so that otherwise strictly Residential lot types of items can be added to a Community lot. It's part of his Builder Stuff collection.
