I'm trying to change my sim's career and I keep getting scripterrors and the career won't change.

Don't really understand why this keeps happening, but I cannot open that rar file. While we're waiting for someone who maybe can, could you try a different compression like zip or 7z?

Can you put your sim into any career or is it just one based on the Community Theater lot that is producing this error? I'm going to guess that this might be a side-effect of Zerbu's mod (which I see you have) or Shimrod's Careers Rehire at the Same Level mod which doesn't reveal itself if in play. But these are more hunches and I could be off base, we will need Chain to confirm or explain what's really happening there.

It seems to be that rabbithole in specific. I assigned her the Busker career and that worked out. I'm gonna remove zerbu and shimrod mods and see if that affects things.

Thought so. This seems to happen in particular with careers that have branches associated with them, so that would affect the standard musician career (as well as law enforcement, acting, and maybe a couple of others).

Music, Law Enforcement, Film, Fortune Teller, Criminal, Bot Arena, Astronomy, Video Game Developer and Art Appraiser I think that's all of the ones that have branches.
