Hi,
first i'm using MasterController v133 and game version 1.67.
What I am trying to do is Blacklisting a lot of items in CAS, the problem is while using the Ctrl-RightClick method the items aren't Blacklisted from all Categories, as stated somewhere in the Blacklisting Guide, but only for the current categorie.
To circumvent this I followed the next step in the guide and exported my blackist and add these to my InvalidParts tuning File for MC and change the Categories to All.
So far so good, but then suddenly some parts that were Blacklisted reappear.
At first I thought this was an oversight on my part so I reblackedlisted them and redid the rest of the process, when I noticed MC was showing 600 something parts instead of the 800 something as before.
I still went ahead with the exporting, adding to the tuning file and recategorizing the parts.
After starting a new game to be sure it was loading the tuning file and not the ingame blacklist, now suddenly different CAS parts weren't blacklisting anymore.
At this point I am at a loss here, I've already tried trimming down the .xml by using the compact approach and I am far bellow the 30.000 lines (near 4.000).
Any help or different method (yes i sorted some of it before hand with easy CASP editor) of achieving this is welcomed.
Blacklisting Issues
Ahhh... shuchs..... going through almost around 30k of lines is really a enormous amount of work to get that all fix up and then at the end realizing the invalid mod didn't take.
Personally I really don't like the MC way of gathering all those data into one output file, as you have experience that you will have to run it for all ages and all categories, which really makes the file more bloated with multiple of the same instance number.
As to your claim that you believed it would do that in one go, that's not true (unsure where you read that, and if its really noted it should be corrected):
"Making a complete InvalidParts list for all ages and genders can be daunting. You will need to go through each age stage available in CAS, for each gender."

I cannot say with full certainty that having multiple usage of the same instance number, for each different categories and ages, is really something that is permitted in the InvalidParts_tuning mod, but if some CAS-parts that you did try to modify/hide are held in CAS, then you will have to check the InvalidParts file on the CAS-Parts that still show.
Right Click the CAS-part in CAS and get the instance number, then open the InvalidParts_Tuning and edit in Notepad/Texteditor, search for the instance number and see if there are multiple entries of the same instance number, if so, combine them into 1 entry.
See if you can gather how to do that in the manual section of <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Blacklistin ... listing</a>.
If you can upload the InvalidParts_Tuning file on a file hosting site (something like mediafire.com / dropbox.com), including a ScriptError report of a CAS-part that should be hiding by that package. I could probably help you out more thoroughly how to do it.
But for now, I must leave it at that.

Thank you for the lightning fast answer, after reading <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterContr ... acklist</a> again I've found the source of my misunderstanding, "Once you have marked a part as black-listed, the part will not appear for that combination of age/gender/category again." I somehow oversaw the word "combination", thus assuming it would remove it completely. This one is totally my mistake, sorry.
I'll try out what you have suggested and post my results. Thank you for the help.
