I recently had a sim visit Oasis Landing with GoHere v44g installed. He stayed at the community living center for half the day then bought a future home and relocated there. I played about a week in game and observed virtually no sims on any community lots. The hot spot of the night was always deserted. Occasionally 1 or 2 sims were on the city hall lot during the day, but that was about it.
I installed Tagger to see where everyone was and they all turned out to be at home, almost every single sim. It was around noon in-game. I saved, quit, uninstalled GoHere, and reloaded. I unpaused the game, went to map view, and observed an immediate exodus of residents to visit community lots. The hot spot that day (Loel's Lounge) had other sims visiting for the first time that game.
I can't think of anything I might have had set to stop sims from visiting community lots. In SP at the town level I had Push: Allow at Night and Push: Allow During Day set to true. In GoHere I had Allow Push Visit Lot At Night set to true. I can't think of anything else that might be relevant.

I've had this similar problem too but it was happened in homeworld. No sims came to the community lots even if they were hotspots and the only places they appeared were rabbitholes. I think the door options need to be set up or something, if you click the community lot, you'll see the door options in GoHere menu. I'm not using this mod anymore because I don't understand the door options xx

Those are door locking settings. There is no need to change anything for community lots if the doors are intended to be open to all in both directions and not charge sims for entry/exit.
@johannshah - Sorry, am straining to find the relevance. Are you saying that if you remove GoHere 44g or whichever beta testing version you had at the time that doing so unleashed your homeworld's sims and they began populating community lots on their own again? I'm not experiencing this issue (yet) with 44g in any worlds and am having a blast charging everyone for things that used to be taken for granted as free without having to drag out the Barrier to Entry stuff from the EA Store cinema set each time. I'm really not sure which version I had in play the last time I was in Oasis though, it was probably a much earlier one.

It's good to know that I shouldn't need to do anything if I don't want to restrict community lots or charge anything. I haven't really paid attention to other worlds in recent games; I can't say this is an OL specific issue. OL was just the first location where I wanted resident sims to show up for my sim to meet. I'll have to test further now that I have Tagger installed.
I'm having the same problem with v44g too. It's happening in both Bridgeport and Isla Paradiso for me. With v44g no inactives are going outside to visit venues etc. Tried swapping back to v43 and experienced the same as the OP described, that lots of sims immediately rushes out to visit various lots.

Although I still can't speak for Oasis, I am not having this issue with 44g and Bridgeport. Of course, Bridgeport being what it is with far too many venues available for the typical city population, it's kind of difficult to gauge impact if at least some sims are out and about, visiting lots.
@Lyneah - As sort of a follow-up, in Bridgeport if your sims go to one of those empty venues and hang around for a while, not one with bouncer rope requirements though, do inactives eventually congregate there? Are there any hotspots being reported in the daily newspaper and do those get any different results?

Thanks for the welcome! (and sorry for necroing this thread, I didn't see the date until now)
In Bridgeport it doesn't seem to matter whether it's hotspots, or if my sims are there, the lots stay empty. What is really noticable though is when I load up a save and has downgraded to v43, within a few sims-minutes inactives show up whether any of mine are there or not, or got the lot focused. I've removed the bouncer ropes on all the lots as well as closed a couple of lots down permanently so. (I think in my last Bridgeport game I only had 4 or 5 bars total)
Same deal in my current Isla Game, made the Paradise Pub into a hangout, with a professional bar. Closed down quite a few other lots like parks etc. With v44g no one except my sim(s) and the rolesim behind the bar. Downgraded and almost straight away a few sims showed up (even if it was 04xx sim-time)

Oh, this isn't necroing at all. We're talking about a beta test version of the mod that is still in development (these things take time). There was a 44h briefly, but it was never made available even as a beta as it had to be sent back to the lab for more work. I'm sure our developer appreciates the comments and will return if he needs more info or if he has anything he would like you to try on these worlds in time.
