Script errors received when teens leave prom

Post by kimlupai » February 25th, 2017, 6:46 pm

As far as gameplay goes I don't think these are serious errors as the teens came home from prom OK. But as this is the second or third prom where I've had errors thrown when the teens leave I figured it might be worth checking them out.

The first prom there were loads of teens in the household, some of whom had learnt to drive. This time around there are three teens in the household but none of them have learnt to drive, not sure if that makes a difference.

The fourth error in the zip was thrown by a non-active (Lucinda French-Goode) I included it because it also mentioned vehicle routing, if I'm reading it correctly.

Thank you for checking them out.

With or without the teens driving, looks to me like GoHere is falling over itself trying to calculate routing in a world where you have LLAMA transport booths present, if I'm reading that correctly. They never did play well together.

Lucinda appears to have route failed on her graduation day where the game was trying to issue her a temporary car, I think. Do you have Traffic set to Always Use Taxis for Inactives Lacking Vehicles?

That would make sense. There are some LLAMA booths in the world, I'd forgotten about them as my sims very rarely use them. I'll go around the town and remove them.

Off the top of my head I may well have that always use taxis setting as true although I can't be certain without checking (memory like a leaky sieve). Is that a bad thing? Should I change it to false?

No, that Traffic setting is True by default. I was hoping you had set it to False and that putting it back at True would stop the error. But sometimes these are one-offs or just a by-product of where the sim was standing when the call to go someplace comes in. Hope she didn't miss her graduation, but I assume she'll get over it if she did. :)
