Many sudden errors
Suddenly I can't click on anybody, and these messages show up every few seconds even for sims I've never interacted with.
Hi there,
Probably a meltdown, hopefully you've saved the game before these errors happened.
See if the errors reoccur when you restart the game from a complete shutdown of the game.
While you at it, add:
ErrorTrap - For better error reporting
<a class="wiki_link" href="/Register">Register</a> - Solves error consisting Service NPC's, Role NPC's
<a class="wiki_link" href="/Traveler">Traveler</a> - If you like to Travel within game worlds
Do clear your cache's before starting.
If the game creates errors again, pls upload them for us to view.
Cheers.

Yes, such what you did with your previous upload, files within your Doc\EA\Sims3 that's called "ScriptError_XXXX_XXXXX_XXXX.xml" these are created by mods.
As for why you can't click on anyone else, on what type of Sims are you trying to click on?
From what I know of the EA StoryProgression (really long time ago), you are prohibited to direct-interact with Service (Mailman, Maids, Babysitter, Repairman, Resortserviceworkers) and Role NPC's (Bartender, Paparazzi, Salesmerchants) outside their tasks.
Try searching within your town for Residents (Homeowners) and see if you can interact with them.

I'm trying to interact with regular townsfolk, like a coworker and such. The only interactions my sim could have with this guy were to play hackeysack with him and that was only via clicking on the ball itself in his inventory, and to go to a restaurant, done only by clicking the restaurant.
I also suddenly ended up with a bunch of things called .MDMP and I've never heard of that extension but I have scads of them now, all accompanied by a .txt file. I'm putting those up as well as the errors.

1 - Please do not upload crash logs and memory dump errors to this wiki. They are (usually) useless and we do not have the storage capacity to hold onto them. The ones you just uploaded are from last year and going up to as far as March. Two of these (one of each type) will usually be generated every time your game crashes. I'm going to guess that these were "off the screen" on you until now. They can all be deleted.
2 - I have to ask here, how does a newly started test game behave (you don't have to save it, just for testing)?
3 - And how about a newly started game with all mods removed except for NRaas? Either of these better or different?

We want script and error logs from the mods as we can help interpret those and they give us meaningful information as to what the game might be doing. Not crash logs or memory dumps, those look very different (as you noticed), and not from last year. I wonder if you have some sort of filtered view going on in Windows where it only shows a subset of the files in a given folder (most recent, largest, something like that). Might explain why your sims3pack files or other things seem to disappear on you at the file level at various times, just a thought.
I would just try a new game first with what you've got for (2). If that's not any better, then for (3), yes I mean try removing all mods except for the NRaas mods you already have. And in both cases, delete the scriptCache.package file first if you don't routinely do this.

If I have any sort of filtered view then I should at least see the same things since I haven't changed any settings. And as far as how things "seemed to" disappear, no, they legit disappeared. Remember, they moved themselves to a different folder (and managed to change format).
I suppose then I have to wonder what makes mods from this site so different than other mods. That's why I stayed away from it for so long, because I thought it was some elaborate network, the way everyone talked about it. And even now you're putting them apart from mods from everywhere else.
