Here, Here igazor!!! This has been one of the worst stretches of this kind of weather since around 1983. Temps around 88 to 96 with the heat index over 100 and 90+ humidity. Now we are looking to 6 days of rain, high humidity and flash flooding alerts. Truly the Summer From Hell, lol.

To be fair though, I remember at least two summers in the past 12 years where the temps were well over 100F (the real temps, not the heat index) several times and the hot weather extended way into September. The difference with those years is that we had total relief, as in reach for the blankets overnight, in between the several extreme heat waves and each one only lasted a few days. One year I looked up the old "Mr. Heat Miser" video from the holiday special and started sending it around.

This year, none of that. This mess has been constant.

And now we all have +15 moodlets for Talking About the Weather.

Oh yeah, there were some bad weather patterns more recently exactly the way you described but nothing that lasted as long as this one. I guess we can't complain though compared with other parts of the country/world experiencing worse weather related and geographical scenarios. Some times it does feel good just to b.... about it though.

That video you linked to. OMG - I remember that one. My kids loved it. I've got to find that show for my younger grand kids and great grand.
