I have uploaded a couple of script errors generated after I attempted to add a Role Sim to a household. Here's what I did:
Added the RS to a household
Split the Household and move the RS to her own home
Removed the Role and assigned a career and foolishly did a game save. I should have done a "Save As" before all this...shame shame shame
Here's what happened:
She disappeared
I tried to click on City Hall and got "no interactions available" - Same thing on other RH's
All tags in the world then disappeared
Next:
Got out of the game and reloaded. RH tags were visible but all residential houses just had an orange tag.
I went into Tagger and reset the settings but that only worked until I rotated to another household.
I imported Tagger settings and was able to reset the town.
It took 3 reloads to get things working again.
I am curious as to why this happened. I know it was by my hand but I am trying to understand why Tagger was impacted. The only script errors generated were Story Progression and Portrait Panel.
Thanks for any insight.

Hi littlelambsy and thank you. I did try fix homeworld and it did not work but I was able to get everything back the way it should be. Those script errors for SP and PP had me stumpted because I couldn't understand why Tagger was so negatively impacted. Probably had to do with PP. In any event, all is well . Thanks again

Those are pretty critical errors indicative that you had lost control of an active Sim which would explain why Tagger failed as well. If she disappeared then that is what causes the explosion. Perhaps she was about to hibernate when you added her to the household and did so.
As I have stated prior, fix homeworld is not a magical fix utility. It merely adjusts the sims homeworld value should be wrong due to travel. That will only ever correct issues where Sims can't go to work - it has no other use.
