Career Outfit

Post by littlelambsy » April 14th, 2018, 10:49 pm

My sim is working in an open workplace and I put him in his career outfit, but he doesn't stay in the career outfit. He doesn't change it, but it just disappears and he's back to everyday. How do I make the career outfit stay until he leaves work? Why does it keep reverting back to everyday? I have him assigned to the building with Zerbus "Add Manual Sims". Also, I tried Consorts Dress Cod but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions?

I have experienced exactly the same problem and have tried the same solutions. :-(

The only other thing I can think of is to give your sim another everyday outfit that looks like his career outfit and make sure he's wearing that one as his number 1 everyday outfit before he goes to work. Or you can make it so with 'MC > Basic > Outfit' if he's already at work.

If the career outfit is not already categorised as everyday, it may be possible to make it so, depending on where the outfit came from. :-)

This doesn't sound like EA. Are either of you using Dresser? I suppose it could be SP's Change Work Clothes option but that's for inactives.

@Sarah... sorry to hear you're having the same problem, but I'm glad to know its not just me :) Good idea to make it same as everyday. I'll have to check on what category his work outfit is in.

@Chain... I'm not using Dresser. This also happens with inactives. At his place of work, the others who came to work also changed back to regular clothes. I would take each co worker into CAS and put them in a work outfit I wanted them to wear (they kept wearing those silly ITF clothes), then after a short time they were back into different outfit.

@Chain: Yes, I use Dresser. I've also noticed it happening to both active and inactive sims. It seems to affect any career so I've always had my suspicions it was one of the many quirks of Zerbu's UC mod and just tried to work around it. :-)

I think overwatch has clean outfit option, but not sure if it is the one causing issue.

The only time I've seen this happen was when I had Force Change Work Clothes enabled
Check Nraas>SP>General>Options Careers>Force Change Work Clothes default is false
When enabled, all sims are switched out of work clothes including active sims.

I hope you don't get this in triplicate as I've tried posting this and it won't post. So here goes again.
@ sittingbear... I changed the setting in SP Change Work Clothes from True to False. So far my Sims have stayed in their work clothes, si it seems to have worked.

@Ryatte... my setting in OW is set to true for clean up outfits. According to the interactions it says OW cleans up duplicate, singed and career outfits nightly. This changing from career to everyday is happening during daytime work hours, on an hourly basis after I keep changing them back. So I don't think OW is the problem. :)

Just wait though tell one of your sims friends come to visit and they have the Workaholic trait and work at the diner or bistro.....you'll probably turn it back on.
