I avoid the Sims 3 Exchange like the plague lol! If anyone does want to download sims from there, I highly advise using The Sims3Pack Cleaner (CUSTARD) to make sure there's no bad cc attached to them, before adding them to your game.
Note: I'm not sure what's going on but I could only find CUSTARD within the Sims 2 section of MTS. The description definitely says it's for Sims 3 sims3packs though.

@Yuk75 - You may have misunderstood. I don't care what you do with your world's digital population or why. I was merely pointing out that Force Kill is not entirely necessary to empty out or partially empty out a population unless you really want to do it that way.
Force Kill = You have a dead sim on your hands.
TA (Totally Annihilate) = Things are arranged so that it's as if the sim never existed in the first place; their data is removed from the game entirely. TA can be run on the entire town or selectively on single sims or subsets like most other MC commands.
Operating at or over the SP population cap does not delete sims. It prevents resident immigration and inactive resident sims from getting pregnant or adopting on their own. Operating under the SP population cap will allow resident immigration if other conditions are right for it -- the Immigration Gauge is not 0 or set too high, there is housing available -- and allows inactive resident sims to get pregnant and adopt on their own.

Igazor, I was going to make them all zombies so they couldn't breed but then I thought best to just get rid of them....so I had to use forcekill because I was inviting them all over in groups. I haven't built a graveyard yet so I didn't mind the graves being around. Also thank you for that clarification that helps!
C.Dark and Brappl I tried downloading some from MTS but a lot of them come with custom content included so I stopped. I just want vanilla sims lol. Will check out the simple minded sims site!
Sarah that's a great idea! Might try that if I can on the sims.

Thanks for explaining. I didn't know it could lead to corruption. By the way what kind of corruption? Does someone have experience of dealing with consequences because of deleting Sims this way. "their data remains behind slowly wreaking the innards of your game" sounds really scary to me but I like to hear technical explanation.
@yuk75. My experience (with the Simple Minded Sims) has been to not download the content available in the links . Another way to do this for most sim 3packs is to use the Multi Sims3Pack Extractor and extract the actual Sim, Rename the file>Name Of Sim.package and put it in your library.
@muzhik - Use caution. I along with many others have managed to corrupt a game using any method other than TA to get rid of a Sim. I have Total Annihilation as a "hot Key". All you need to is click on the sim tag of any sim (active or inactive) then click NRaas>Total Annihilation. This can also be done for multiple sims all at one time. No grieving as they are completely wiped off the universe. I do use force kill if I want to keep the family tree in tact if I'm playing legacy families.
Just some thoughts

@brappl, thank you. I've just tested TA method. Created MC hotkey for TA, and can now delete Sims with "shift click > TA", it's even faster than "Object>Delete it", Sim just disappears, and there is no pop up filter windows to choose multiple Sims. Also Sims disappear from Family tree, unlike "Object>Delete it" method. By the way I was playing and deleting Sims via "Object>Delete it" method 5 sim weeks in my current game, no corruption issues noticed. Maybe I just don't see them.
