Faster partner pollinate?
Is there a way to batch partner pollinate?

Sorry, but what has this new question got to do with pollination? It's best to start new threads when unrelated questions arise if you could please.
- New resident sims/households arriving to take up career slots are controlled by SP Immigration and its Immigration Gauge setting. Zero is off completely, but higher gauge settings will restrict or prevent SP Immigration entirely on it cyclic check for Immigration Pressure as compared to what you have set the gauge to. Or, if you set SP's population cap low enough, then no new residents will be allowed to immigrate in (there won't be any inactive pregnancies formed or adoptions either that way).
- New Role Sims (homeless) spawning are controlled by Register. The mod can be set to allow "Immigration," which in this context means the spawning of new sims to take up role slots, to use unemployed residents if there are any, or both/neither. If new Role Sims are needed, Register "Immigration" is disallowed, and there aren't any unemployed residents to take up these slots, then you will get barrages of warnings about unstaffed role objects.
- Service Sims (always homeless) are added to the service pools as needed. We can reduce the pools but can't really stop this from happening when the game calls for more of them.
Not directly related to the above, homeless sims will also spawn to take up career slots if there aren't any residents to fill them so as to provide resident sims with co-workers and bosses (this can be controlled up to a point with SP settings also), and to provide Showtime performers -- the game does that last one and it's really annoying if the player doesn't want any.
These things are all covered in pretty good detail in the mods' FAQs. Of course it helps to know which mods to be checking, but really SP and Register are the only candidates in this case as the others don't really have anything to do with the automatic creation of new sims.

Because I am pollinating the sims I want to stay in the game, I spent 2 hours inviting every sim in the game to my house so I could force kill the ones I didn't like, and then I pollinated the ones I did like....so I want to stop the game generating sims with boring genetics now. Everyone's walking around with the same default face and it's just uninspiring ha ha.
So if I put this immigration (which is on zero so I thought was off) setting to say 100 or what ever the max is I have to force new pregnancies? That sucks. Hmm.
Will turn it off in register. If there's a shortage I will just add a new family to town or something lol. I'll go check out those two FAQs! Thank you!!

You're beginning to lose me here. By making me confused, I mean.
Usually players who want to replace the default looking townies TA all or most of them (not force kill, that's different) and bring in fresh households using SP Rapid Immigration. As per the players' immigration settings they won't or shouldn't all be zero slider sims.
Immigration has nothing to do with Pregnancy. If the Immigration Gauge is 0, then there is no resident household immigration because the entire resident immigration system would be shut down. If the Immigration Gauge is 100, there probably won't be any resident household immigration because the daily checked immigration pressure probably wouldn't go that high.
But that has nothing to do with pregnancy. The population cap I mentioned is SP > General Options > Options:Sims > Maximum Residents > Humans. If that is set to 0, then there is no cap. If it is set to 100, then if you have 100 or more residents already there will be no resident household immigration (no matter what your Immigration Gauge is set to) and there will be no inactive, non-player directed pregnancies or adoptions until the resident population goes below 100 or you raise the cap again. Player directed move-ins, sim creation, making babies with other sims and adopting are not affected although there may be no multiple births (twins, etc.) if the cap is reached or exceeded. The number of resident sims you already have can be measured quickly on City Hall/Computer, NRaas > MC > Demographics > Population > "X" to dismiss the filter. It's only the Residents number among the others that the SP cap, if you have one, would apply to.

I have <50 adults and ~100 young adults and ~20 teens right now left. I Force killed about 40 sims who were too default for me, and then pollinated 60. I raised the cap from 100 to 300 because I wasn't sure how many babies would be born because I pollinated a lot of sims myself with multiples based on how interesting their genetics were before finding the mass pollinate command lol. If I put the cap down to 100 what happens? Will it delete sims? Will sims still be able to get pregnant in the hood? I don't mind if it adds to the homeless cache.
If I brought in new households of interesting sims that would help....but it would also mean those sims could be pushed towards the default ones which would make their interesting genetics duller and I couldn't stand that thought. Half these sims look like literally the first face option in CAS, it's awful. I can't tell them apart. There's no enjoyment to watching the same face stretch into different emotions on 50 sims. I wanted them out of the gene pool. I know I sound like a psychopath saying this but I just wanted to connect with my sim and feel like I knew the sims around them.
Also the sims in this world are....very unique. At first I was a bit horrified now I am fascinated ha haha. I wish I could find a site to download more of them because I'm not good at making sims like this lol. I will get some pictures tomorrow when I play lol.

Hi yuk75 - If you are looking for new sims, one of our members, littlelambsy has some nice sims complete with background stories here at her Simple Minded Sims Site. You might want to check out the lots and businesses in the download section.
