Traveller and Mover Script errors

Post by littlelambsy » November 10th, 2017, 11:52 pm

Ok, now what have I broken? I was remodelling a house after moving a sim in. I saved a few times, then it went weird. I had to go to edit town and back to the house to get the walls down. Then after doing more and saving I couldn't go back to live mode and I got a Traveller and Mover error... I wasn't even travelling or moving. Scripts uploaded.

And here I thought it was going to be such a quiet evening..

Your UI (User Interface, kind of a useful element of the game since we can't do much without it) is bouncing. Or, to put it another way, the session has gone bad. I expect that Mover and Traveler are complaining because those are the first mods being affected by it, not because you were actively using them at the time. Chain would have to give us a more technical definition, but I would probably run away from that session and load up a prior save.

Oh dear! I don't understand how I can be quietly minding my own business, working on a sims project and "poof" my game has ha hissy fit. I did shut the game down and have now reloaded the last save, which I think is the one that went wrong. I had gone to edit town when I couldn't get back to live mode and saved, then quit. I'll see what it does now. Thanks igazor :)

No idea how you keep breaking the UI like that but it's always the same error. Tell me your secrets. :) Saving and reloading should be fine.
