Login issues
I know that there may be nothing you can do about this but for the past few days I've been having trouble logging in because either the certificate has expired or someone is trying to steal my personal information and has mimicked the site incorrectly. But Chrome won't let me into the site because the connection is not secure. I'm about ready to consider going back to Firefox, which I gave up on when it decided it didn't like MTS or Armor Games.

Are you talking about logging in here, at NRaas?
There is a secure site to wikispaces, one with the https, but it's broken. The javascript and most of our navigation tools just tend to not work if you access that way, if you can even get through the login. It's always best to use regular http (without the "s") here, this wiki is not intended to be a secure site.

My bookmark is http://nr ... es.com/ so I have no idea why it thinks I ought to be using the https now. But it occurred to me while I was at church that it started about the same time that my security suite updated a few days ago. Now I'm wondering if there's a connection...

I'm (almost) strictly a Firefox user but some time ago there was a huge push to only allow logins on secure sites without first pestering the player with warnings that the approaching site being logged into is not secure. The warning in FF is easy to ignore once we get used to seeing it. Wouldn't know offhand if Chrome is doing something similar or if there is a preference in there that can be adjusted. MTS is the same way, the https version is usually broken. These sites don't really need to be secure with the exception of where MTS might take online donations. The rest are not truly exchanges of what one might call very personal information.
But yes, possibly your security suite is offering up another variable to consider.
