Yes it appears OP has a mod unlocking that job for elders and the core is busting when they die. I can fix the error though. The role errors are indeed the game suffering from EA bugs without Register. The Hestia Harris log is output from clicking in DebugEnabler but yes she does have some invalid traits from improper removal of a mod with custom traits. None of those would cause the crashing however.

FYI you posted what J4Ks didn't want. He said post the information above the options. As for fixing Hestia, you'll want to do a MC / Advanced / Drop Traits and try to remove any blanks you see. The game may bust out though. It's really recommended not to remove custom traits without ensuring all Sims don't have them.

Before I fix the ghost hunter issue, I was curious if you had played with Zhan Su and does the career play fine as a elder?

I assumed (which is bad :P) OP assigned Zhan Su to the Ghost Hunter Career through MC, though a tuning mod activating it would also be viable.

As for the traveling crashes, I can only assume its due to savedgame overbloating and maybe a little lacking on system RAM, as OP posted:
- Riverview_0x0859db43.nhd is 512,377 KB.
- TravelDB is 1,264,670 KB.
Since early on you are able to travel till the 3rd/4th generation without any problems.

Recommendations on current Saved Game:
1. Move your Household, Family and Friends to a new map (savedgame):

either, save each Households to the Edit Town> Bin and reinsert them in a new home on a new map (saved game). Or you can use [URL=https://wwww.nraas.net/community/Porter ...
either, clean up your savedgame files (Homeworld.nhd and TravelDB.nhd) with either options in this link: <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Kuree%27s+Save+Cleaner]http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Kuree%27s+Save+Cleaner[/URL]

If you have pictures on the wall on the desk in your Sims Home and don't want to loose them follow the instructions carefully

After either moved to a new map or cleaned up your current saved game, see if the traveling transitions between worlds runs without crashing.

General GamePlay Tips:
- Switch Memories off in the game options
- Use Save As... method rather than the regular Save options, if something goes bad in your game, you can revert back to an earlier save. While when you use the regular Save it gets overwritten continuously.

Keep 4-5 of your current SavedGame files in your Sims 3\Saves folder and put the others somewhere outside the EA\TS3\Saves folder

- Saves with at the end *.bad are corrupted files, you can delete those. These are created when getting Error 12 (insufficient Game RAM resources).
- Saves with at the end *.backup are made to keep a copy stored of your previous savedgame after you used the regular Save option. If anything goes wrong, you could revert to such *.backup file, the idea of EA, but its not a 100% insurance. With the Save As .... method its more reliable.
- Keep an eye out on those filesizes of your Homeworld.NHD and TravelDB.NHD, keep them around 200~300 MB if you are a regular traveler. TravelDB can be a bit higher I think.

System Info:
The game can use up to 4GB max RAM, while running max 3.7GB of RAM. Since you only have 6GB of RAM on your system, when playing your game, you will need to make sure that there is nothing else heavy running on the background.
Keep in mind that your OS requires the usage of RAM on start up, it differs on various machine, you can open your Task Manager after you started your PC and see what % of Memory is in use of your 6GB of RAM.
That will basically be your available RAM for other applications/The Sims 3, if your machine doesn't spike irregularly.

Due to the high file sizes of your *.NHD files and 6GB available RAM on your system, I assume that's the reasons of the crashes while trying to Travel between worlds.

Hope this helps!

May I add a couple of things to all of the excellent advice given above?

-- The TravelDB file can be much larger than the nhds as it doesn't get loaded into/unloaded from RAM during startups, travel transitions, and saves. It just comes along for the ride for reference and gets written to as needed. But where it is now at 1.2 GB I would have to admit that it's more prone to breakage and corruption than a leaner, cleaned up one would be.

-- Another thing to try after all the cleanup is to not attempt travel to/from such a complicated progressed world without first turning all graphics settings in Game Options down to their bare ugly minimum, turn off Advance Rendering as well, and only travel on a freshly loaded up session to reduce stress on the game. Not many would want to play that way because things in-game would look horrible, but after a safe arrival and a Save (As) and Quit to Desktop, the settings can be adjusted back again and the game reloaded.

Chain Reaction: I've never played Zhan Su, however, after being told he was one of the issues, I used Master Controller to add him into the household, quit the ghost hunter career for him, then moved him out. Since he's an elder, he won't join again because I disallowed elders and tourists from getting the ghosthunter career (he was a tourist before I moved him in then out). Also, here's the actual thing needed, sorry I skipped over "until" in the instructions and took it as I should start there. I don't know why, but I did. Here it is, just in case it's still needed:

J4Ks:I downloaded save cleaner, however, I don't know if it's working. I first saved it to my downloads folder, then when I didn't notice it working, I saved it to the mods folder... It still doesn't look like it's working. Where should I save it? Also, does it need me to do anything on my part to get it to start working, other than downloading? I don't really mind losing pictures and memories. Also, I'll start moving everything over! I'm just hoping I can get save cleaner to work, before starting a new game first. Thanks for the advice!

igazor: Okay, I'll do that! Thank you!
Thanks everyone!

Save Cleaner is not a mod or meant to be in your game folder at all. It is a utility program, independent of the game. When TS3 is not running, we are meant to launch Save Cleaner, point to where our saved games are (if it can't find them on its own) and essentially instruct it to "clean that one" on demand. It's a one-time operation each time we launch the utility program.

On your Device Config, would you happen to know if your laptop is supposed to have dual graphics cards? If it does have an Nvidia or AMD dedicated card in there in addition to the Intel HD 5500 chip, the game isn't using it. Or if you don't know, perhaps you could give us the brand name and complete model number of this laptop and we could try to look it up?

Okay, I'm removing that last post because it included your computer's serial number; that's kind of identifying information that really shouldn't be posted out in open on the Web. But for a model number (HP can be wacky about these at times) I was looking for something more like HP 15-g007dx as an example. We already know the HP and 15 part, but that's an entire product line that includes all kinds of models.

Oh man, I completely forgot about this post, but no, sorry, I don't know how to get that information... :/ I tried to look in the control panel but for some reason I must be skipping over it or something... Also, thanks for deleting my post. I had no idea what I was putting.
