How do I adjust the shuffleboard ITUN (or an XML file, if that would work) so players finish games?

The original catch all. General game help, banter, things you should probably put in the correct forum, This is the place.

How do I adjust the shuffleboard ITUN (or an XML file, if that would work) so players finish games?

I've played around with ITUN files a lot. Many people do through Retuner. I actually do it through copying the ITUN files to my mods folder and editing the "advertisements" (commodities such as motives it promises to satisfy) and the like.

Usually I can get the behavior I want, with a few tries.

Shuffleboard, however, isn't working that way for me. Sims not in the active household (and occasionally sims in the active household as well, though those I can force to rejoin the game) will stop playing and talk to other sims.

I've tried such things as increasing the Social advertising for waiting for one's turn. It doesn't seem to prevent it.

One thing that may hold me back is that I can't turn the advertising for "play" too high...because when I did that, sims practiced by themselves way too often. That may be why I was able to get sims to finish ping pong and beer pong games, but have more trouble with shuffleboard.

Any ideas about how best to tune for the results I want?

Thanks.

I know there are a few interactions that are impossible to remove from the queue. Maybe you could look at how that was done, and make waiting for your turn another one? (Although that could end up being problematic if someone gets stuck waiting for their turn at a shuffleboard that isn't accessible.)

I mentioned in another post that I'm (at least so far, and likely always will be) too lazy to learn script modding. I do what I can with XML and ITUN tuning files, which actually allow a pretty fair amount of customization.

All I can do in the ITUN is to make "Interruptible" "False" (which it is for the vast majority of actions in their ITUN files. I've played with an XML file that's supposed to provide a multiplier to interact with a sim already doing something else (whether playing shuffleboard, making a potion, cooking, whatever) amd set the multiplier to 0, which should mean no one would interrupt anyone.

I'd be thrilled if someone pointed me to a tuning file that made it impossible to remove playing shuffleboard from the queue, but my guess that would be in the script files.
