Sometimes I want a certain inactive Sim to marry another particular inactive Sim. So I go to SP > Sim Options > Romance:Arranged Marriage: Sim or I go to MC > Progression > Sim Options > Romance:Arranged Marriage: Sim and a menu pops up asking me to choose the target Sim. After I choose the target Sim, that Sim's name appears next to Romance: Arranged Marriage: Sim in the menu. After awhile, when I open up the menu options for that Sim again, the target Sim's name doesn't appear there anymore.

Does that mean that the mod has "forgotten" or dropped the change I made to that setting? Do I have to keep changing the Romance: Arranged Marriage: Sim setting to the Sim I want, or do I only have to do that once, even if the target Sim's name doesn't show up anymore?

Believe it or not but that means that one of the 2 sims rejected the arrangement but sometimes it also gets dropped if they become boyfriend and girlfriend and the 2 sims in question don't want marry at this time

I've never tried the arrange marriages. Until someone comes along who has or can help you further. Take a look at the <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/x-What%20ar ... ">Arranged Marriages Here</a> and see if that helps any.

@namaradus Really? They can do that? Whaaaaaat?? I thought I was the one in control in this game, lol. I did not realize the extent to which these little people have a mind of their own.

I've used Arranged Marriage before SP gives the sims the choice to accept it or not also caste, clan and age such as one is too young affect it

Now if you want them marry make both are at least a YA and then change their relationship level to Best Friend
Cause if sims don't like each other or know each other may reject the arrangement and if one is already married they reject it

I have three couples in mind that I keep trying to arrange a marriage between. The first couple likely doesn't even know each other (but they should!). The second couple knows each other and are at least friends, but are probably not best friends. The third couple is romantically involved and is expecting a baby together, but they both have several romantic interests and are probably content to just play the field.

@theapoo .. the wiki get's a bit temperamental from time to time. Sometimes you need to wait for what seems like forever for the post to pop up. No worries we can remove the dupes easy enough

Yeah sometimes the Wiki lags a little I found it best to sometimes copy my response refresh the page and paste what I had wrote but sometimes it just takes little bit for it post

In the case with the ones that are already friends double check their traits and see if they have any that make them incompatible as a couple
