So, it's been almost 5 months since my game started crashing and still, to this day I'm trying to find a way to fix it..
I have already tried everything, playing without mods, playing in another world/save, reinstalling the game, removing and replacing mods and cc, and from 4Gb I went down to 2GB in total.
i also got some help from you guys, and i did every single ''test'' and fix i could do.
And still, no matter what town, save and cc in using, the game still crashes. it works perfectly on built mode and CAS, there's no lag when I ''play'', but anytime I play more than 2 minutes in live mode, it just crashes.
Every time it crashes, I check the T3CLA and I always get a DEP diagnosis, I've already disabled the DEP settings for the sims 3.
In the meantime, I've been playing the sims 2 and I've had zero problems, so i thought, is it because the graphics are ''weaker''?
My birthday is coming up and I thought about getting a new graphics card, I've read that after some time the graphics card can get ''worn out'' and i have been playing the sims 3 since 2019, and in the middle of 2023, i started getting some issues and eventually crashing.
on my last thread, it was pointed out that my graphic card was too old and not suitable for the game..sooo could that be my issue? perhaps the sims 3 takes too much out of my current graphics card and replacing it with a ''newer'' and better one could help with the crashing, as it seems like the live mode is waaay too heavy for it to handle.
please, if anyone has some tips or a sent-from-heaven solution, let me know before i set my computer on fire.

I have 8,00 GB RAM, my CPU is a AMD A6-9500 RADEON R5, 8 COMPUTER CORES 2C+6G 3.50 GHz
and i'm using NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS

Game STILL Crashing
What your are doing by starting a new thread is forcing those of us who remember the original one to go back and review its progress and where things stood a few months ago. It's not fair to make those of us who are trying to help do that, but otherwise we're just going to go around in circles again and not get anywhere meaningful.
Your graphics card is about 14 years old and was never fully capable of running the game with all EPs in play. In addition, you threw enough broken and incompatible with NRaas mods at it to kill a medium-sized moose, plus you had 4 GB of CC going. To some extent you cleaned up the broken mods issues, but I think a game folder having been tainted by the existence of KW (and please don't tell us about removal procedures again, we do not support or trust that mod in any capacity) and still carrying far too many mods and content for your hardware to handle got left in use.
Fourteen year old GPUs degrade in perforrnance and in their ability to stay cooled when stressed, They do not improve over time nor can they recover from being burned out.
Am afraid I do not see the point of this new thread, so accordingly it is now locked. If you wish to extend the conversation, the older thread from Dec is still there. But there really isn't much we can offer except a renewed recommendation to play on stronger hardware when it becomes feasible for you to do so.
