Hello, everyone. I've got all of the NRAAS mods installed. One thing I was wondering about was how do I stop older sims from having babies?
I adjust my sims lifestages to mimic realistic ages/aging. For example, every one year in my sims world is equal to four sim days. My young adults are ages 18-30 and my adults are ages 30-65 years. But it's not realistic for a female adult sim who is 60 years old to have a baby. So how do I use NRAAS mods to make it so that a female sim over 45 years old cannot have a baby (181 or more sim days).
To clarify: I only want it so that female sims 181 days or more can't have babies. I still want male sims to be able to.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! Are you using NRaas Story Progression? I use the "Near Elder Limit" option in General Options to control this. The full path is:-
City Hall > NRaas > Story Progression > General Options > Options: Pregnancy > Near Elder Limit
Excerpt from the StoryProgression Interactions page:-
Near Elder Limit
Defines how close, in sims days, to the age-up point a sim is allowed to be and still become pregnant
Default: 10
Does this help?

Hi there MMitchell, glad you could join us over here.
What Sarah means is start with the total age of a sim in sim days who would be aging up to Elder and figure out how many sim days prior to that should be the end of their ability to get pregnant. So if your Elder span begins at 200 sim days (for example) and you don't want them getting pregnant at ages over 180 sim days, then the value to enter there would be 19 (200-181 = 19). If your Elder span begins at 240 sim days, then the value to enter would be 59 (240-181 = 59).

How do I stop older sims from having babies?
Old thread I know - but I have been trying this today - and it doesn't seem to work.
I have a short lifespan atm with 1 sim day = 1 year and sims becoming elders at 70 days.
I figure that there should be no pregnancies for women older than 45 days. So I have set the number to 25.
But I currently have sims still getting pregnant at 50+ days!
I even in desperation tried switching off pregnancy for the entire adult female caste. That didn't work either.
Are my sims just super-determined or am I doing something wrong?
