igazor, yessss, you gave me an idea, I'll transfer the food to other fridges in town and let the townies deal with the spoiled meals! :D

As for parties, I think I'll pass.
Two days ago, in another game, my sim and his 2 kids wanted a pool party. Ok, let's have a pool party at the community pool. Invited my sim's best friend and co-worker in the law enforcement, who was the only other sim in the town in the law enforcement. After 6 hours of partying, I sent my sim and his kids home to end the party. I went 2 sim hours later to edit the community pool to remove the buffet table and other items I had put for the party. Aaannnd I saw the Grim Reaper there...The dumb sim had drowned and waited for the party to end to do it...so I couldn't save him...

In this current game, my sim is a doctor, so I am pretty sure that the party will end up in all of them being sick at the same time or they'll choke on some food and die...No, thanks :D

but again, with Icarus mod you can just pick up any ingredients, if it says tomato you can pick an apple. up to 3 ingredients, so less are ok too.

Why don't you move, transfer your ingredients or most of it to the fridge?
With the fridge sorting by category all meals are at the end (if I remember right).

For the books , this is really helpful to move them all to bookshelf. You may sell some in-between.
Wit's Debugenabler you can fill bookshelfs fast 🙂

C-Dark, Spaghetti with apples...hmmm, interesting :P

Well, I don't usually transfer the ingredients when I involve the sims in nectar making, so not to have to transfer them back. Or I sell them to the supermarket. I am lazy, what can I say...:)

I will try that mod with the bookshelves too, thank you.
