Just a quick question. I'm tweaking my Retuner - Daycare section a little bit and I was wondering what "KNumBadRatingsToFail" actually means.

The number of bad ratings received, which will induce failure in the Daycare career, if I remember correctly.

The tuning notes from the XML itself:
<!--The number of bad ratings until a parent withdraws their child in a timeframe of (kNumScoringRecordsHistory days). When the child is withdrawn their slot goes on cooldown of kDaycareLostCustomerCooldownDays before they are replaced. If all children are lost the daycare is suspended.-->

it does not show up. Am I looking in the wrong place?

You need the itune itself, make your own.

This should also make it nearly impossible that your daycare gets suspended.
I use this mainly for my Inactive daycare sims. I have 2

I assign the 2 in my daycare house. They are not separate. And they are an inactive household.

With MC you can give the carreer directly on the sim.
And with SP I assign them a manual caste too, especially including curfew so they don't walk off too often

One of them is a human looking plumbot. I wrote in an older thread about it. I can look it up if you like.
I use this since years, and I love it.

Wow, thank you for sharing this. Very creative. I don’t understand how to create manual casts. A lot more complicated than this old brain of mine can comprehend.

you can change it also simply on the sim manually.

But in a new save world instance you need to remember to do so again

I also disallow this household to move. Can be set via lot also manually (I think)
