Awesome mod radio

was wondering how to fix the awesome mod radio system when my active sim is not on the lot the radios shut off automatically and i dont want that to happen like i see inactives sims turn on the radio but it shuts off within a few seconds only when my active sims are on the lot the radio stay on how to fix this it only happens when i put awesome mod in my game

You're probably aware of this, but this isn't AwesomeMod's support site. I mean, it's kind of like asking Burger King how they can help you get a Big Mac without sauce.

Maybe that's not the best analogy. But here is AwesomeMod's configuration tool. If a feature of the mod does not have an entry there, I would have to say that it's not designed to be optional. Awesome is a Core Mod, so much of what it does is not as flexible as Script Mod solutions like NRaas mods. Imposing another mod on top of a Core Mod to change the same kind of behavior to something else is not really a recipe for success as the two mods would end up conflicting with each other.

The reason for the stereo shutdowns is probably to save on game performance so there aren't dozens or more residential lot stereos playing all over town in places where we don't have any actively controlled sims present. NRaas Overwatch does this too, but I believe it only checks at 3 am or whenever nightly OW cleanups are scheduled and not every few sim minutes.

Lmao yea i cound not get into my awesome account so i dedcided to post here ok i guess its part of the mod then ill switch back to nraas sp one more question is it possible to run both mods nrass sp and awesome ? cause i like some features from awesome mod i have not tried it yet cause of the storyprogessions what if turn one of them off would it work together ?

Yes, you can run Awesome together with NRaas mods. I assumed you already were or wouldn't be having this conversion here. :)

Here is a list of things to be aware of when running both. Some NRaas mods shouldn't really be run against Awesome, such as Dreamer, RelationshipPanel. and Saver.

When it comes to story progression, only one progression system can ever be active at a time. If you switch off Awesome's StoryMode, then you can use either EA's or NRaas StoryProgression's. If you leave them all on, Awesome's StoryMode will detect the presence of NRaas SP (if SP Progression is Enabled) and step aside.

Because that's how Pescado programmed it. NRaas exists because Twallan set about to find Script Mod ways to do what Awesome does as a Core Mod, and then extended things much further. Clearly they respected each others' work rather than choosing to ignore each other or set themselves up as some kind of adversaries.

This was before my time with TS3 and mods, but wasn't NRaas originally hosted on MATY, where Awesome lives?

They were. The Supercomputer, which went on to become Mastercontroller, was hosted over there.

yes i have tried it now i took out Dreamer, RelationshipPanel and Saver i didnt know they would work together i thought i had to only run one at a time cause of the story progressions i thought it would mess with the game and crash but yeah played last night pretty fun with both mods now that radio thing still appears to happen with awesome mod i found a way wire the speaker seems to get rid of the problem the radio dont shut off wen im not on the lot but its the smaller radios i cant wire the speakers on them its great mad just wish the radios was normal lol
