Lately I've had Sims leave high level careers like CEO quit while inactive to join new careers at the begining level. These sims often do not have traits or wishes that would encourage them to leave their careers. I turned off the SP setting to allow sims to find jobs but it still keeps happening

Please do not create duplicate threads. You can bump the original after a reasonable amount of time but usually if no one has responded we haven't gotten the time to get back to you yet or in some rare cases don't know the answer.

Can you elaborate on when this is happening? If it's at the beginning of introduction of the mod to a save or a new instance of a world, it's normal behavior. They will shift around based on their traits, wishes or just high level balance (most of which isn't exposed to the user). If it's happening outside of the initial introduction, that would be abnormal.

Which option did you disable to stop it? If you used the Career: Allow Find Job under caste options, it would have to be a caste that applied to the Sim to be honored. If it was Options Career: Auto Find Job it's possible then EA would make the situation worse.

Some additional things to check since it's max level jobs, you may have Options: Careers / Reroll Careers on Top Level enabled.

if you disabled SP it is not SP I think, because it cannot do anything.

I use the Manually Select Careers
and get a prompt in addition.l to assign. Follow the steps in the link.

No sims in my town ever quit their job, thankfully because of SP.
