Problems with "shop for clothes"

I'm trying to make the "shop for clothes" mod work, but for some reason it shows no interaction in my game when I click on the clothing rack item, not even the usual "view" option which I assume would show up normally without the mod. It works on my dresser in the sense that I have no plan outfit option anymore.
Any reasons why the mod should not work? the only thing I have notices is that on release notes it says the latest version is version seven, while in the main page it says version 4. Could that be the reason?

Is the Sim wearing their career outfit when shopping or pregnant?
