To be clear, I meant the lot version of Add Sim (click on the dorm lot), not the sim version (where we click on a sim to add the to our own household).

Sims who are dormmates and roommates show up on the portrait panel on the left side of the screen, but they aren't meant to be part of the active household nor are they meant to be controllable.The player can use the panel to focus the game camera on them, not play them actively. This is a feature of one of the mods, probably PortraitPanel.

But I'm still a bit lost as to what you are doing. I've never used a custom Uni World replacement world and didn't actually realize we could do this, I thought we may have been talking about the Careers mod Homeworld Universities function but I guess not. If this world is to function the same as the built-in Uni World does, then it may be an open question as to whether these sims will still be in the world someplace upon a return trip for a future term.
