Hi everyone,
I am probably posting this in the wrong place, but it's the only place I can find to post anything. My question: Is there a way to change the price/value of a building or venue? I am in Monte Vista, and the cost to purchase Tasty Treats and Tomes is only $1200. That's ridiculous for such a beautiful building. So I am wondering if there is a way to change that to something more normal for the game, like $60,000.
Thanks,

Change the price/value of a venue or building?
Welcome
Is this the value you're seeing to own the rabbithole, or is that the price of purchasing the lot that the rabbithole is on?
For the rabbithole, you could use Retuner or make a tuning package to change the buyout cost for the ComboBookstoreBistro XML.
For the lot, this normally happens to lots that have little more than their rabbithole because the building shell has no value. You could probably do something like make an override for the shell that makes it much more expensive.
Alternatively, different lot types have different values. If you change the lot in Edit Town to something like "Hangout", the base cost would become $50,000.
I don't think there is a way to manually set a price for a lot, unfortunately, but the above can at least manipulate it into a range of your liking.

Change the price/value of a venue or building?
thank you. What I wanted to do was buy the rabbithole. When I go to retuner, I see general and the 4 seasons. When I click general, I see buy out property (20,000), so I click that, and I see just true/false options, none of which look apropos the property value. I feel like I am missing a mod or something. Sorry - I am unable to upload any images.

It looks like the object you place on the lot governs the cost of acquisition. If I edit the lot and replace the Tasty Treats and Tomes shell with Little Corsican Bistro shell, the value goes way up. But the Little Corsican looks nothing like the rest of the town.

Retuner can be a little strange to navigate, don't worry!
On the City Hall or a Computer, NRaas > Retuner > Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Store.Objects > ComboBookstoreBistro > kRabbitHoleTuning
There you should see buyout and investment cost options.
Each rabbithole has its own buyout cost, this one is very low by default.
