Hi
I did installed the mod overwatch to my sims 3 game. My game worked fine before i installed the mod, but when i did put the mod i my mods folder and i started my game it crashed when i came to the loading screen (after the intro). I tried to start my game a few times but the game crashed every time at the same spot. When i take out overwatch from my modsfolder i works as normal.
I have a PC (laptop), and my game is installed thourgh a disc.

Hi there. Since you have a disc install, may I ask please what patch level your game is on? And is your Mods folder located in the TS3 user game folder in Documents or someplace else...and do other package based files like CC or other mods work properly?

One place is on the Launcher. If it does not display the patch level front and center, you should be able to hover your mouse on the base game icon at the bottom and the patch level should appear in a small pop-up.

That means you are on Patch 1.26, which is the version that shipped with the Pets EP. Your game is essentially unpatched. The mods from here require a current patch level, which for a disc install would be 1.67. It is not surprising that the current version of Overwatch would be crashing the game and most of the others will just not work. Most Script Mods from other developers, if they were kept up to date through the game's development cycle, would not work on that patch level either.
The Launcher should be offering you a game update but often enough the patch job it does is not complete even when it says that it is finished. The best way to patch a retail disc install up to 1.67 is to use EA's SuperPatcher.
