igazor: yes, game used to work fine, I never really had to remove any EPs so, no it's not the issue, I only played in Sunset Valley and one custom, but probably the problem is in other worlds too

Chain_Reaction: other than nraas mods and awesome I'm not using any mods, only some custom content like hair and clothes but these don't affect speed iirc, I also use 3booter if it's the issue...

Might be unrelated but: I recently changed "Language for non-Unicode programs" to play one game, could that be the reason? because when I changed it back to "English (United States)" [because it was Chinese] it seemed the clock error suddenly stopped appearing, can't actually tell if it's true, but I managed to spend almost 2 days but then softlock happened (every effect is still moving, like plumbob or rain if there is one, but sims and ui is frozen)
