Not showing in Nraas Menu

Post by Kalesims420 » August 24th, 2022, 6:38 pm

I've literally been trying to get this mod to work for the past 2 days straight. For some reason, this specific mod just won't work no matter what I do! I've searched up every possible fix and nothing is helping it work, assuming it's broken as of now as I cannot find any possible fix myself. I have a couple of other mods from this page that work and show up in the nraas menu at townhall but no matter how I unpack, move, copy, or extract the relativity mod into my package folder it will not show up only woohooer, and stories show up at townhall, on pcs, and on clocks. I have physically tried everything I've seen online and on youtube and nothing was helpful in the slightest. My game is up to code for the version of this mod, it has all the correct files required for modding that isn't the issue it's honestly really irritating me as this is the only mod like this out there for this game and ill probably just delete sims 3 and counting playing sims 2 where I can find a working time mod if I can't get this resolved, sigh.

Not showing in Nraas Menu

And yet the mod works for the vast majority of those downloading it. We would be happy to help figure out why it's not loading for you, but please do try to direct your irritation elsewhere if you could. Honestly, we don't provide the mods and support for them just to annoy and frustrate our fellow players by posting things that are broken.

You'll have to bear with us though, as we are not going to know what "everything seen online and on youtube" means so some of the things to be suggested might be those you have already tried.

1 - Have you cleared (deleted) the scriptCache.package file from the top level of your TS3 user game folder in Documents since adding the mod and, if not, please do so now.

2 - There will be a file in that same top level folder called DeviceConfig.log. It may show up as just DeviceConfig, but it's the same file. Please do a right-click > Properties on it and tell us if its Modification Date/Time matches the last exact time the game was started up. If you aren't sure, close everything out and start the game. The Modification Date/Time of that file should update instantly. Let us know if it does not, because that means you have another live game folder that the game is reading from someplace other than the one you are adding mods to.

3 - Please confirm that you are letting the game clock run for at least a few sim minutes before checking for an NRaas > Relativity menu. It takes a bit of game time, shouldn't be much, for Script Mods and their menus to fully load.

4 - Have you tried to pull out your entire TS3 user game folder (just set the current one aside on the Desktop or rename it for safekeeping) so that a new one spawns on the next startup of the game, then set up the Framework again and put in NRaas mods only? If so, did anything different happen?

5 - What is your source of the game and what kind of install is this -- Origin, Steam, retail store discs, or some other source? If the retail discs, which patch level is it on?
