<t>The first time I reset everything (before saving, quitting, and removing GoHere), I tried not to let the game clock run at all because I thought that Sims might immediately try to route somewhere. So I paused, saved, and quit the game immediately after I reset everything. The second time I reset ...

Apparently I had installed a testing version of GoHere, 44g, and forgot I had done this for some reason. I put in 44n (the latest testing version) and i'll see if that makes a difference. If not, I'll try the released version, v 43.

Uninstalling GoHere corrupts my save game

<t>I tried taking out GoHere because I wanted to see if my Sims would be able to go on Field Trips if I took it out. Also, it seems to send too many townies to one particular lot (Monticello Plaza in SV) while the festival lot is completely empty. <br/> <br/> I reset everything with MC before I took...

@ Chain: Could you please offer your perspective on what I'm planning on doing here? Just having one .nhd file per foreign world at a time in the same save?

<t>I'm not going to keep swapping .nhd files. While this level of corruption is tolerable for me, it is always better to have as little corruption as possible. So I think I will resort to just having one active .nhd file per foreign world in an ongoing save game. I have one family in France right no...

<t>Thank you Igazor!!! I didn't know I had written so much until I posted it and then I was shocked that I had written an essay. I don't blame you, I needed naps after writing the whole thing and in between hours of testing/staring at the screen trying to figure out what is going on. And potato chip...

^Btw I understand if nobody wants to read all of this because it is extremely long. But I wanted to be detailed and thorough because the different issues across the different files gets very confusing otherwise (I got very confused several times doing all this testing).

<t>Okay. I have some things to report back. It's a really long story.<br/> <br/> So first I tested with a save from before I ever removed the TravelDB file. I sent the same household to the same copy of France they had been to before, but with the TravelDB intact and never having been removed. Remem...

I see now that I didn't test the save from before I had removed Travel DB for the first time. Let me try that.

...Aaaaand I checked. Putting the TravelDB file back in didn't change anything. The same three sims showed up as black and parented by cats and dogs *cringe*.
