I still have no idea what could possibly have caused the massive amounts of homeless sims generated in the first place.
Having gotten rid of them the game still lags for a fraction of a second every other second, but at least it doesn't actually freeze.

Unless they are outrageously high, the numbers of homeless and service are less important, it's the number of residents that is more so. 5200 households and 5300 homeless seems a bit high for 81 residents and 81 service sims in ITF.... I have the full set of NRaas mods and we've talked before about...

I didn't play last year after some save files became corrupted, however i picked the game up again this year. My hardware is starting to get old so performance is expected to decrease a bit but i compensated this for most applications with a bit of added RAM. Of course this doesn't work for the Sims...
