SO! igazor was, as always, right. The issue seems to be one with the graphical settings, as CC didn't affect it at all. I have however not been able to figure out just exactly what it is that makes things fail, because having more detailed characters also made the eye overlay in the normal game fail...

This wasn't lower end hardware though.
The problem is that i can turn visuals way up and it won't hurt the game much, but the eyes never get displayed.

In every instance of any plumbot being displayed minus the actual sim world, the eye overlay is missing. Is this normal? If not it's due to a mod, but what could possibly have caused this? It's not a huge game breaking problem, but it is sortof really creepy to have empty eyes for them in interactio...

To anyone who might have a similar issue, you can split the household and move parts out by switching to a different household (with MC for example) and then clicking on the lot in edit town.
This works perfectly fine even though the options to normally move out and split the household are missing.

Well that didn't work. I managed to add the ghost to the family via MC and then resurrect it. However i see no way of actually splitting the family... or even moving the family out. The option you mentioned is simply not present in the Traveler menu... Moving them out could work on the world editor ...
