Can I have children sent to Daycare?
Sims kids are free range and extremely capable. They can ride or walk all over town, they can get themselves food (leftovers from the fridge, using the toy oven to bake a muffin, purchase food from a vendor), they can entertain themselves, and they can't get injured or set the house on fire or any o...

Merging package files. Opinions?
Well, I guess I probably will go back to merging then, when I'm done with this absurdly involved and extremely tedious project. And I may consider using CCMagic. Have played with it in the past, but have always preferred to just do it by hand for various reasons of precision and nitpickiness. (I don...

Merging package files. Opinions?
Yes, I'm familiar with CCMagic. I have generally preferred to merge by hand for various reasons, but I do know the program works and that a lot of people like it.
But it doesn't really answer my question as to whether or not there is any actual benefit of merging.

I understand that there's a general consensus that you should merge as many of your package files as possible for a variety of reasons. I have always done this. Lately, though, I've undertaken an extensive (and tedious!) project where I'm sorting through every single piece of CC, recatagorizing, fix...

<r>J4Ks : Thanks for that info. Good leads to investigate! <E>:)</E> (Love this place, I always get good info here) <br/> <br/> Yeah, I noticed that I can't load directly from TS3W.exe any more. That really irritates me. I hate the launcher and have avoided it for years. I think I might be able to d...

<t>I've been using Windows 10 for a while now. Other than a few random things that I can't get to work (and I do mean only a few and I definitely mean random), it's been fine. I shut off all the privacy-invading things when I did the install, and then double checked to make sure there was nothing el...

<r>I tried every compatibility mode. I also tried running as admin. I suspect it's actually calling a feature that is no longer available (I've heard of this happening with a couple of programs). It's not being maintained any more, though, as far as I'm aware, so it's unlikely to be fixed if that is...
