Genetics and Skintones...

It happens in my game as well, that babies are shown to have a different skin color in their protrait than their actual one. I think the game may have some memory issues and replaces certain things with something a bit random. Sometimes, mine messes up a Sim's favorites, for example, but they then s...

Question About Family Relations

No. The code is smart enough to see what I'm trying to do. It works, or rather not, both ways. Also, should I try and select the previous step-parent first, the role of step simply switches to the other parent. By the way, I do realise that the core of the issue is a by design thing. I suppose I cou...

I don't know where to start.

The subways are meant to be placed around town as connected traveling points. Having just one doesn't do anything. You have to place at least two. Then your Sim can travel back and forth between them. They are part of the Late Night expansion pack and not University related :)

Cheers

Question About Family Relations

Hi! I'm using MasterController and Woohooer to run a now huge family of closely related Sims, inspired by ancient royalty customs. The Sims 3 being what it is, I have had to deal with various errors along the way and workarounds such as taking households out and putting them back in - so on and sofo...

Plumbots and SP

Hi!
I hope this is not too dumb a question, but I wondered if there is a 'don't make unplayed plumbots lose or mess up their trait chips' -setting somewhere in SP?
Sadly, my plumbot has suffered two cases of the issue and lost precious rare chips this way.

Genetics

Hello, I've been away from TS3 for quite a while, but am happy to be back. I recall a discussion about children looking like clones of their parents either here or over on the official Sims forums. I also recall something about Nraas SP fixing that - or one of the modules doing so. Could a friendly ...

Bridgeport Taxis

Late Night adds a lot of really nice things. Taxis with darkened windows and no people in them are just not one of them. I don't know about others, but to me it utterly breaks the immersion when my Sims are, say, on a trip to Oasis Landing in the future and around every corner, you spot a taxi from ...

Worlds

Hmm, I have never tried a custom world, nor is it likely that I ever will with all the EA ones to choose from. That said, I do avoid some of EA's because of routing issues - Bridgeport, Isla Paradiso come to mind. Some of the store worlds have some odd routing issues when it comes to public mirrors....

NRaas.net Surpasses 1 Million Downloads

Frequenting the offcial Sims forum as well as a few others, I was also under the impression that Sims 3 was standing in the shadow of Sims 4. It makes me incredibly happy to learn that Sims 3 is still going strong. Only, I wish it still had the attention of EA in terms of receiving bugfixes, etc. I ...
