<t>I remember years ago being curious about what was happening under those covers. It took a few tries, but getting the camera/screen down to nearly floor level and doing a slow zoom in while the happenings were happening and I finally saw the crazy goings-on under the covers. Getting the right angl...

<t>When I ran the test game earlier, I added kitchen counters and the Food Register to an empty community lot (visitors allowed). A role sim was assigned to the register almost immediately. I had my Sim go to the lot and I checked which option when clicking on the actual register brings up grocery s...

<r>Sorry for double posting (again). <br/> If you don't want your merchants tied to their registers 24/7, blue's "Merchant Hours Adjustment..." mod limits the time they're working. <br/> For example, the food register (grocery) would have opening/closing hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. I always hated s...

You're welcome! One of these days I'd like to do the same with the shops and stores in town, making them functional non-rabbit holes. I'll be checking out your posts to see how that's done :)

<t>Tested the WA Food Register w/o blue's mod in. The option to buy groceries is there. <br/> Rather than selecting 'Buy Food,' if you select 'Buy' the option to buy prepared foods as well as groceries is present.<br/> There are buttons to select Produce, Fish, Meat and Cheese, Prepared Food. You ca...

You're welcome. Shimrod on TFM's site has a Children Can Buy Bakery mod that works great too (both are no-stretch). I'm loading a test game now to check on the register.

<r>That would be the WA food register. I've been using the "Children Can Order Food and Items from the Registers" mod by bluegenjutsu for years and I'm not sure if the mod adds groceries, or if they're always there because since adding the mod, I never play without it. I'll have to pull it in a test...

<r>I don't know exactly which game I was playing where I believe my Sim could purchase produce through the food register, as well as prepared meals. I'm going to check on that and my mods folders also. <br/> <br/> In the meantime, while searching around the Internets, I came across this cool grocery...

<t>Ahh, good to know. SP Money is in play. Thank you for easing my mind over my non-active's ability to get the funds it looks like a couple of them will be needing soon. I'm trying not to micro-manage the non-actives so I'm not even checking their inventories to see how many laptops they likely bou...
