<r>Haha, right! <E>;)</E> Poor baby sim, I think I'll take pity and make them an actual genie to explain the red color! It looks like they were in a tragic red food coloring accident, honestly.<br/> <br/> Thanks for the link! I completely forgot about male maternity wear. Especially helpful consider...

Oh jeez, I feel silly! The baby isn't a genie-- there's actually another genie in town and I mistook the baby for one. Premade dead sims in Appaloosa plains are all colored red, so the baby inherited the red genetics from the premade, dead grandparents that were colored red. Whoops!

Calvin is a premade Sim in the town and he's the only one with dead relatives, so I'll check and see if one of his premade parents are genies somehow. SP is definitely in control and not EA. Maybe it's a weird fluke?

Human sims had a genie child!

<r>I've been playing Appaloosa Plains and periodically check up on the population. That's when I noticed a bright red newborn sim on the list. The kid is the child of Calvin Riffin and Hiller Flint, both who are human afaik! The child definitely wasn't adopted since I saw Calvin walking around town ...

I did a Reset Everything recently, but I don't think I've ever done a Reset Homeworld on this particular save. I should give that a whirl, thanks for the reminder!

But they're not dead... yet!

<t>I had a little whoops at the community pool in Riverview. Which is to say, I threw a huge party and a ton of sims over crowded the pool. Then they got stuck and started drowning. I managed to pause the game and reset one of the poor helpless sims before they died (I think?), which caused a chain ...

Longer alien pregnancy

<t>Heya,<br/> <br/> I play my sims on the epic maximum lifespan and adjust the pregnancy length accordingly. One of my male sims got abducted and ended up pregnant, but the buff only seems to last three days. Is there a way to adjust the hours it lasts? I looked around Retuner and couldn't find the ...

<t>Thanks, TreyNutz. I do use MC, so maybe Stylist will be better.<br/> <br/> And I played around some and it seems the game REFUSES to save your voice preferences if you change the age of a sim in CAS. This happened with sims edited using MC, pre-made bin sims, and a totally new sims in CAH. If you...

Yes, I meant the CAH pre-made sim bin! I like my sims to start fresh and starry-eyed when playing them in a new town. ;)

Thanks for the help, though! I'll play around with it a bit more and see if someone has any additional info.

<t>Oh, alright, if the hairstyles/clothes are age specific and only have look-alike versions, that makes a lot more sense that it'd change on aging. I never considered that! Though sometimes the game does seem smart enough to account for this, because I've had a few cases where a sim had the exact s...
