Are you used to liquid cooled computers, and how often you should replace the distilled water in it? Or maybe it's a closed loop system?ZeeGee post_id=90127 time=1658254446 user_id=13415 wrote: I bought it, should be here Friday!

Windows 11 with disc version of Sims 3
Hmmmm, wasn't it that Alienware PC they warned about at Gamers Nexus? Must look it up. Ok, so they call the R13 a "dumpsterfire", and the R10 "Hilariously bad". But the R12? Must find reviews for that one. This german guy is a computer expert, and he has reviewed the R12: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

What is the game doing when you quit?
And deleted the Featureditems folder Deleting the folder won't be enough, it will spawn again. See this procedure https://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/12/tutorial-turning-off-ingame-store-and-preventing-loading-of-pictures.html Ok, done that. :) But shouldn't blocking the game from connecting to the ...

What is the game doing when you quit?
How do I block that? I blocked connections by creating rules (inbound and outbound) in the windows firewall, as in this article . Also, don't forget to delete the FeaturedItems folder if you previously denied access to it, so that the game will create a new empty folder (if you disabled Internet ac...

What is the game doing when you quit?
Thanks for the interesting replies.
I have set the game to be offline. Does it still use the internet? How do I block that?
Sometimes I need to quit the game to add some CC or poses, and staring at the black screen steals minutes from my important life.

My sim's fridge is empty after traveling
Before my sims travel I start a new save and travel from there, and go back to the old save when they have returned home. It feels safer that way. I remember what happened and have the screenshots, and that's the main thing. :) I started doing this after one of my saves got corrupted for some reason...

Ryzen 5600X
I have a Ryzen 3700X that performs about the same as the 5600X, and I've been thinking about getting a 5900X because it's faster at decompression, but I'm not sure exactly how much that would speed up loading of sims 3 saves. But the loading times halved when I went from my older AMD Phenom II 1100...

Ryzen 5600X
The 5600X is a great processor for Sims 3. I doubt you'd see any benefit from a higher-tier Ryzen CPU unless you ran some benchmarks or took out a stopwatch.
