Disabling the hair filter only
I have a store hair (Africa Inspired City Side Braids) that would not appear for my AF sim's sleepwear. I was able to use the "disable clothing filter" option to make it appear, but I'd rather have the filter in place for clothes and only disabled for hair. Is that an option with master controller?

Are you using different hair styles?
If you log the hair, activate all-day cat, is it then working?
If it shows when disabling clothing filter, it may have no valid enabled category in the object tuning itself.

Same hairstyle for all categories. When I used the lock feature, it showed it in CAS but changed to a base game hair in-game for sleepwear. Worked for all other categories.

Are you sure you used MC's CAS when selecting the hairstyle? You need to have the MC Integration module which replaces all CAS interactions if you use the Change Appearance interaction on mirrors, since the unmodded CAS does not apply a hairstyle to categories for which it is not enabled, while MC's CAS ignores any restrictions and applies hairstyles to all categories even with the filter enabled.

Initially, I started a new game and entered CAS from the create-a-household option. Then in live mode I tried using the nraas>mastercontroller>stylist interaction. I do have MasterController Integration.

Do you by any chance use the smooth patch and still including the additional incompatible smooth patch Mastercontroller package in your mods folder? then you need to remove this.

This hair isn't flagged for sleepwear, so this behaviour is normal.
You may have more luck using MC > Advanced > Edit in CAS, because MC doesn't load until the game clock is running (ie. New Game CAS is not MC CAS) and the Stylist room doesn't have all the functionality of CAS.
Then you need to apply the hair in Everyday, with the lock on. I was able to confirm this in my own game with the same hair c:

No smooth patch. (I'm getting back into TS3, was interested but had some trouble finding the correct folder on windows 11. But that's another story)
Didn't realize edit in CAS would make a difference compared to stylist - will note that for the future, thanks!
No way to flag a given hair for sleepwear, or just allow all hairs for all categories without doing the same for clothes?

There doesn't seem to be a separate filter, just the workaround as described.
An override .package can also be made for the hair itself to give it the missing categories, if you're comfortable making manual edits like that in a program like S3PE or EasyCASP.

I'll probably try that. There are actually a lot of CAS items I'd like to recategorize. I've made default replacements for TS2, so hopefully it's not too different of a process.CardinalSims wrote: ↑April 17th, 2024, 12:20 amThere doesn't seem to be a separate filter, just the workaround as described.
