Any? Which have you tried? If you're using a module without base mods, that's the issue. Mastercontroller Progression requires StoryProgression for example.

No I use them together, I have also tried using error trap, careers alone with MC, it crashes regardless.

So although you haven't specifically said so, the game launches and runs fine with no mods at all? What about other mods, like the two sample test ones that come with the Mods Framework download?

Have you cleared (deleted) the cache files since this started happening? What happens if you pull your TS3 user game folder out to your desktop or rename it for safekeeping and let the game generate a new one, then redo the Mods Framework on it for testing?

Yes it runs fine mod free, and with the mod framework packages, I am positive the cause is nraas

Can you post (third party link) a picture of your mods - packages folder?

Let's look at it this way. We have millions of downloads of these mods each year and we currently have 1 player who is positive that our mods, any/all of them, are crashing their game on startup. Admittedly not all players are on the EA App as we also support players on retail disc and Steam installs, but by now many of them are. And admittedly not everyone who has a problem is going to bring it to us immediately, although we wish they would. But see why this doesn't flow logically?

Would you like for us to continue helping you find the underlying cause of the crashing problem or did you just want a place to sound off about our mods being broken (when we know they are not for most players)? Honestly, it's fine either way.

In case you would like to continue, my next question would be are you on a Win 10/11 install and is your TS3 user game folder in the regular user Documents folder or has it nested itself into the Documents folder in OneDrvie? Is OneDrvie active at all? The game cannot run in a stable manner if it's being synchronized to the cloud and the entire OneDrive structure tends to confuse things as none of this existed back when the game was developed, hence my asking about it.

That is precisely the reason why I have come to you to help solve it. I have been using your mods for a very long time with zero issue, until now, which I am equally as perplexed about. I am in no way shape or form looking to ‘sound off’ or discredit your mod because I thoroughly enjoyed using it, I am simply looking for a solution to this issue.

Now with that said, just now I launched the game with the other mods and cc i regularly use and it runs smoothly. I added Nraas MC and the MC modules; the game crashes on the first loading screen. I then ran the game with the Nraas MC and the Mod Framework files alone. Crashed again on the first loading screen.
I am using Windows 10, the game folder is found via Documents > Electronic Arts > The sims 3, and I do not use One Drive & I delete the cache files after every game. I have Generations, Showtime, Ambitions, Late Night, University and Seasons.

You have the MC Progression add-on module in place but not the StoryProgression base mod. As has already been stated earlier on, this will crash the game on startup every time. MC Progression is a bridge between the MC and the SP base mods. It can't be used without both of them also present.
