You're going to have the humane society, PETA, and the Sunset Valley Society for Squirrel Appreciation after you if you don't stop this. Squirrels and other small animals are sims. Perhaps not as sophisticated as humans (this is subject to debate) or dogs and cats, and certainly not open to progression of any form, but regardless if it has a heartbeat and feelings, then it's a living creature that is being sim-ulated. Hence, a sim. Object deleting a sim removes the sim's body but not their data from the game and can cause all kinds of corruption if/when that particular sim is ever called upon to do something. Other problems can also occur if the Move Object On cheat is ever used on sims unless it's only to get them into a certain position or out of the way for poses and photo/screenshot taking and then the game is quit without saving.

There may be other solutions to your apparent rodent (and reptile?) problem that don't involve these cheats. :)

I've written entire books on sim childhood development. They were once popular and even used as textbooks, but they've all been deemed unsuitable more recently and are now out of print and banned. Go figure. Toddlers don't need to use cellphones, but the game does use the cellphone as a sim identifier so this is probably a further symptom of household corruption that I still believe was caused by switching in and out or moving sims out of an overstuffed household without proper mod protection in place.

If you have exactly 8 human sims in the household and one or more is pregnant, or even 7 sims and 2 are pregnant, then your household is overstuffed by definition and needs these forms of protection to avoid being deemed undefined and collapsing. It is certainly possible to play household of 9 or even 20 sims with the proper protections in place, plus PortraitPanel so you can more conveniently see and click onto all of these sims on the left-hand panel without having to use spacebar tricks to toggle to the next "page" of sim icons. I wouldn't necessarily recommend playing a household of 20+ for game performance reasons, but 9 or 10 or even one or two more should be fine on most systems.

It's worth trying at least a few more times, but there may not be a "clean" solution for this if you don't have a save from before the overstuffing and switch or moveouts happening that you can revert to.
