Short question. Can I safely reset towns other than my home town via MC?

I'm in Oasis Landing right now and my sims bought a house there and I've decided to spend a few sim weeks there.
Usually when I'm playing in my homeworld I reset it regularly as it helps keep the game running smoothly.
However, I'm wondering if there might be any problems if I do it in other worlds where my Sims are just visiting.
I've never done it before in worlds like Oasis Landing or oh Egypt, China, France or the University world.

There's no reason that destination worlds shouldn't be MC Reset that way. Timing could be an issue with Uni World, as in given a choice you probably wouldn't want to do this during class sessions or final exams because of how temporarily intrusive the reset can be to ordinary gameplay.

But be sure to always Save (As) first so that you have a safe save to revert to in case something does go wrong.
