I was making some households from the "edit town" view with 1 sim and a few cats each. The first household, everything went smoothly (aside from seeming to lag a bit more than usual) until I got to the "edit relationships" part and I could open the window for it but none of the sims showed up. Annoying, but no big deal I guess since I can just edit their relationships later with MasterController. But then I tried making another household with 2 cats from the bin and breeding them. Once I got the offspring I wanted, I tried deleting the parents but after deleting the second parent the panel on the side of the screen disappeared and I got an error. I could not save the household but I could delete it and exit the game. I tried again with the same parents, but this time when I deleted one of them the same thing happened but I couldnt click the button to exit this time. I tried a third time and had the same result, and then a fourth time with different parents and got the same result again. Then I tried with dogs, and I could delete one parent but upon deleting the other I had the same issue. Here are the script errors that I got, but I have no idea what they mean

Not sure we are getting the entire picture (pun intended0 from that screenshot of a script error log. Can we see the entire file instead of a screenshot of it? Is ErrorTrap installed and does it have anything to say on the matter -- your log concerns errors being thrown by MasterController.

To share entire script log files, drag and drop the file icons onto a response here and let the site's upload manager do the rest. Or, if that doesn't work, zip them together (if more than one), upload to a third party file hosting service (not imgur, that's only for images), and provide a link that grants us access to them.

Also please note that if you are using the 2.x versions of the Smoothness Patch with MC files, that structure is actually not compatible with NRaas and it needs to be undone.

You have some pet mods from other sources and one of them may be interfering with or causing objections to the parent deletions. What happens if you try a test run with only NRaas mods in play and the scriptCache file cleared (deleted)?

I've never really totally understood how CAS handles pet genetics myself, so it's also possible that you can't do things exactly this way. But we would need other players with more pet experience to tell us if animal genetics are even a factor here.

The problem is that, unlike sims, when you delete a pet their UI collapses off to the side and then its supposed to reappear, but somehow it doesnt always manage to. The error was only throwing once I clicked something else while the UI wasnt there. I am not sure how to fix this

This is not the solution you are looking for, but in the meantime maybe it will do? Don't delete the parents, go ahead and let them be in the household upon creation. Then once in-game, use MC to Totally Annihilate the parent animals so it will become as if they never existed.

Or, of course, you could also keep them around and give them away to other homes in town but that may really not be what you had in mind.

The parents are characters who I do want to exist in the world so its not too big a deal. I will just move them to a different household and be careful not to delete pets in the future

Can you confirm it happens without smooth patch? It looks like events are firing out of sync to me.
