Certain Accessories Not Saving After Leaving CAS

Post by oldlazereye » July 22nd, 2023, 11:52 pm

Hello, I've been running into an issue lately while using Master Controller. I am making a male sim, however, I am using certain accessories that are marked for females only (some cc and vanilla accessories), yet some accessories do not seem to save after I switch to edit another outfit in CAS or stylist. For instance, I will add an accessory to the everyday category, switch over to formal and back to everyday, and the accessory will be missing. The only way to save this is to exit CAS/stylist with that outfit selected, however this will only apply the accessories to the selected outfit, the rest will be without.

The odd thing is, certain accessories that aren't for males are staying, and some are not. Specifically from base game, some gloves and nails accessories are saving (after changing outfits), while a pair of socks are not. I'm not sure why exactly this is happening.

I have been sure to edit certain settings in Settings >> CAS, specifically Disable Clothing Filter all on true, and in the "Category Changes" option: unlock hair, accessories, and clothing for all genders. In addition, I should have the most recent version of Master Controller assuming there have been no recent updates that went under my radar.

I've checked other forum posts on this site and found people with what looks like the same issue. One person tried editing their downloaded cc's properties to include both genders, which they reported not working. In addition, mods of the site were trying to help these people but there was never an actual resolution. Now most of these posts are years old, and was hoping maybe something had changed and just wasn't reported or I didn't see. I would appreciate any information or things I could try, and can supply more information if need be. Thank you!

I don't know, but can you verify that you don't use lazyduchess smooth patch Mastercontroller package?
If you do, you should remove this, because it is not compatible with nraas.

Thanks for getting back, and no, I do not have this installed or any of the things on the post you linked. There are a few things I may try today to see if I can get it to work, but we'll see. Thank you for checking.

If you could note the specific basegame items that work and the ones that don't (either by describing them, or if you're familiar with S3OC to grab their names), I will test in my own game.

Sure thing, not familiar with S3OC, but I can try describing them. The fingerless long gloves and pointy nails seemed to stay on, however the long socks (around knees length) and any other type of glove didn't work. I think the ones that stayed may have somehow become stuck on the model but I'm unsure.
