I've managed to copy swimwear to all categories, but I cannot get MC to copy from naked to other categories. I've read people saying it's possible, and I've tried getting my Sim naked first (by taking a bath), but naked never shows up in MC's list.

I either need a way to stop the Sim changing clothes automatically, or to copy naked to everything else, so they look naked when they think they aren't.

There used to be a mod called Nouveau Nudists from Cmar which made all clothing invisible, but it's no longer available to download. The file is missing from the site.

There's also a method to force sims outside from lots, on the streets and such.

I'll try forcing naked outfits with signs this evening when I play (it's currently my morning). I would prefer (since I have seasons) for them to shiver. Although Sims do not freeze to death, it is possible if they stay frozen for a few days for them to starve. Whatever happened to the hairdryer technique random sims would use on each other? My own Sim starved to death by being frozen outside his own house, and during this time about 5 others passed and did nothing.

well this sounds like an unpleasant world game.
I mean nudity in cold seasons are not even real, no one can survive the cold or would live like this, only in warm weather.

I enjoy nature in real life, I hillwalk barefoot, I don't wear warm clothes when it's snowing, I love shivering, it's an automatic massage, and not painful, why would you avoid it? And watching others shiver is cool. It's just an exertion - most people watch sports to enjoy seeing others exerting themselves, so why not shivering?

Hypothermia is a myth, humans are warm blooded. I proved that when I was 11. I was told by a teacher if you fell into icy water you would die in 15 minutes. I didn't believe anything teachers and parents said, so I tried it, and I wasn't a particularly fit lad, just a skinny thing. Assuming I could just get out when I felt like I was going to pass out, I waded naked into a lake to see what would happen. I stood up to my neck in 0C water (there was ice floating about, I knew it was 0), and after the alleged dangerous 15 minutes, my teeth were chattering. Assuming this was no big deal, I stayed in longer. 30 minutes made my legs shiver. An hour made all of me shiver and it felt good. 2 hours wasn't any colder. Then I got out for lunch. I've since seen many Youtube videos of Russians, Scandinavians, and even a Frenchman, enjoying an hour in an ice bath. 15 minutes indeed!

My game is a fresh install of 1.67 with every single addition, and a handful of mods including NRAAS stuff. This time round and a few years ago on a completely different computer with just seasons and no mods at all, it was the same. I get the chilly, teeth chattering, frostbite, frozen solid sequence. He lies naked in the snow until it goes above 0C then he wakes up. If he stays there about 3 days, he runs out of food and starves. Unless on a public lot someone uses a hairdryer. Strangely they're not doing that on my home plot like they've done in a previous game, although since I'm on a tiny island I swam out to with no other plots, I only get occasional visits from the paperboy or someone who happens to swim past and wants to chat. I think the chances of someone having a hairdryer are about 1 in 3 or 4, so I guess I was unlucky when I starved to death. Use the autosave mod!

If an admin is reading this, please stop your forum disabling my browser's spellcheck, why would you do that? It still underlines in red as I type, but I can't right click to fix it, I just get a very short menu with only paste in it!

Why would you not touch it with a long stick? I'm not discussing religion, I'm discussing whether something everyone believes is wrong because I have personally proved it wrong. Just go try it yourself, you're not going to die, you can get out whenever you feel not so good.

I have disabled nothing. As I said, base+seasons+no mods = no cold death, that's what it does.

Still to try the signs, I was too busy yesterday with real life property searches. I'm a gonna go off grid Bubba! I'm gunna git maself sum solar doohickeys and make maself sum ah ma own eletrickery!

The game may protect inactive sims so it takes longer instead for active sims.
