Due to mess up / emergency backup, I replaced my blacklist tuning file with a slightly older version of the same file.
Less stuff blacklisted. (from 590 things to, we'll say, 450)
But for some reason, in CAS, Master Controller still thinks I have the same amount of stuff blacklisted (590) even with the older tuning .xml file successfully implemented.
Is there any way to force an update or something of the nature? Should I be concerned? Is it just a little bug? i'm planning to fill up my blacklist with all 30000 lines - so I want to do this right.
Suggestions?

I can only think of this.
You have recently blacklisted items and imported the export in the invalid tuning file.
The blacklisted items are still in MC save.
So if there are more the tuning file with less cannot work.
The tuning file is more meant for new games where you haven't blacklisted items.
So, you can delete them with MC , "save as" new name, restart this save and the tuning file should work.

- For clarification, when you say "so you can delete them" - delete what? the sims? clear my blacklist? the save file? the tuning file?
- I just started a fresh save. I have my InvalidParts & Tuning file in my packages folder as always. When I enter CAS, my blacklist now says 0. Any idea why? Again I can see the tuning file still has thousands of lines of code, so i don't get it!
I thought the tuning file was specifically so I could have my blacklist implemented in new saves?

Disregard my previous comment - I wrote the xml to the package again, tried the new save a second time (this time making sure to clear all cache first) and it appears to be working now.C-Dark wrote: ↑July 5th, 2023, 6:04 pmI can only think of this.

One thing that's still a little worrisome, is my blacklist still says 590 items, even though I just reverted tons of changes I had made.
Nonetheless, I'll push forward with my fingers crossed. Thanks again for your help!

In the MC settings CAS section where you export your blacklist is also the
Clear Blacklist
Removes all black listed parts from the in-game CAS blacklist
Note: This will not affect invalid parts loaded from tuning
