Help- Two versions of MC at once/older versions

I used packer to edit something in MC but it's not showing in game. I must be editing one of these older/hidden versions. Found this list using OverWatch, can't find these Master Controllers anywhere else

And I don't have any duplicate .package files as you can see:

Can I delete versions 132 and 133?

Chain_Reaction Ah :) Bingo!! There were some mods in Override! Everything is working fine now!!

Oh dear, I have so many mods in Override installed in 2019 🤦🏻‍♀️ I got my current pc back then and for the first time in ages I could install sims 3, so I just copied my old Mods backup without giving a look, gooooooodddd

And shoot, I'm sorry for putting you through changing your game's language and all! Thank you so much for going that far :)
I can rest easy now, I was going mad trying to understand what i was doing wrong 🙏🏻

Help- Two versions of MC at once/older versions

Those aren't older or hidden versions of Master Controller, they're modules and a log. The modules should be hanging around in the folder you put them into. I think the log shows up in your main folder as a script error file? If I'm right, to view it, you just need to click on the script errors in your folder until one of them turns out to be the log.

Help- Two versions of MC at once/older versions

MasterController is a base mod. It has four optional add-on modules -- MC Cheats, MC Integration, MC Progression, and MC Expanded Tattoo. That's potentially five different package files to download and keep updated. You don't have the Expanded Tattoo module, which is fine, so make that four package files.

It looks to me like you have updated both the base mod and MC Progression to v134 but have not updated MC Integration or MC Cheats.

The base mods and the add-on modules do not always stay in sync on the version numbers, but in this case you are using mismatched modules when updates are available, and that could break your game.

I see, thank you for letting me know. I was mainly referring to the first screenshot, I thought Mc 134 and Cheats(Batota) 133 were both (just)MC. I edited the base mod (MC) and Mc Cheats with packer. And I could only see any changes made via OverWatch because when I click on a mod in that list, I can see the changes in the pop up. This is why i thought there were two versions going on at once, since I was only editing the Master Controller root mod I have but the changes would only show on the 133, but now I know it's just the root MC that I can't edit for some reason. (edited for clarity)

igazor, (editing to ref you! Just found out how to, sorry if quoting also pings you I didn't mean to spam) I downloaded the modules this september, and those are the current versions available for download. The green button says it's for MC 134+

I downloaded the zips again just now and here you can see:
  • Master Controller cheats created on feb 5th 2018 at 06:03am, as it is in my folder screenshot on OPImage
  • Master Controller integration, created on september (with packer as I translated), but downloaded that same day. Opening that zip file, the time stamp matches with the one downloaded today, July 5th 2017 08:19am:
Please note both .zip files say V134.Image
  • Master Controller Progression, downloaded this friday:

It seems despite the files saying v134, two or more modules are 133 and 132.
I also can't get any modification to show in Master Controller, maybe this is why? i'll back up my save files and test.

I was successful with other nraas mods
Sorry for the wall of text, I didn't know how else to prove the files were the same

Help- Two versions of MC at once/older versions

My game is set to PortugueseBrazilian, I edited the version strings because they're easier to find in game.
I have updated all of Master Controller's translations but I can't get it to appear in game.
I tried:
  • copy pasting to text editor
  • exporting from packer to a .txt file
  • editting IN packer
  • saving as
  • changing name
  • using a 3rd party tool
None work...

edit to add that editing the cheats module doesn't work either
