I have a save where i was setting up my nraas mod settings

When i downloaded the mods i thought i would never need some of the SP's personality modules but now that i think about it they might be usefull for some worlds beside i now know that it's easy to turn them off

So my question is it ok for me to install all of the personality modules mid-save?

If by mid-save, you mean impose them on existing game saves while the game is not actually running then yes. That is totally fine. It's also fine to remove them again (if needed).

If you mean while the game is actually running, then no I'm pretty sure they would be ignored until the next time a game save is loaded up.
