Integration pack crashes

Why won't that blasted mod show up in game? Hopefully we know!

Hi. First to say I am not mod person, but needed to revive a sim and using it was the only way. Trust me I tried everything.

I installed NRaas_MasterControllerIntegration and it was working fine at first. Clicking on avatar of dead sim at family tree I succeeded adding the sim to the family and making the ghost - human.
Unfortunately game gave me error 12 and I had to play the whole thing again.
Here comes the interesting part: every time I try to click on any sim family tree when this mod is on, game freeze. At some moments it doesn't load at all, just shuts down before I start it. I tried to remove every mod one by one and this is the problem one.

What to do now? Is there any way to fix it? To use it without crashing?

Did you have the Master Controller base mod (green download button at the top of the page) installed as well, when it was working? Master Controller Integration is a module that will only work if the Master Controller base mod is installed.

If you only install the module without the base mod, the game will crash. :-)

Yes. But it doesn't explain why it worked first time and not the others.

Does your game work if you only install the Master Controller base mod and the Integration module? If not, what happens exactly?

I think we might need some clarification on the question here.

The MC Integration module extends the MC version of a couple of things like CAS (this is the big one) and the Party Invite interface (as an example of a smaller one) into regular gameplay. It doesn't really have anything to do that I can think of with respect to family trees and dead sim avatars. Maybe I am missing something.

But the point is, does the MC mod alone work for you as it should without its optional Integration add-on module?

MC works fine. As I said, I am not much into mods and don't use many of them. I mostly use testingcheatsenabled. I mainly installed Nraas to fix some bugs like entire town stop aging and sims kids dissapearing. Lately I realized they were dead and I tried to revive the last who were gone.

Last time when I did this the entire game froze and stop working. I tried anything - moving household, trying to operate from a different one, rename folders, delete cache, enter through a few different menu, install last versions, literally anything.
Today I opened, moved family, it was the problem one since Integration was working for others.
Then it stop working for all the sims.

I click sim family tree -Nraas master controler-intermediate-add sim-household. There are sims living or lived in that specific household. I choose those who I need to bring back, by some reason only children are dying for a while all over the town. And it's not over populated.
Usually a ghost must appear and with CAS or testingcheats I turn him into human. Now I click and click and click, nothing happens. At some point game get sick of this and spit it out at my face, shutting down.


Not sure how or why, but this is what happens. I think I need to mention that this save is old, a few years old, and it was completely bugged. I cleaned it to the point only main files left, no travels, no university or anything. It started working again. I make multiple copies and saves at every game in case some of them crashes.
My laptop is new, gamer one, with a lot of memory and strong processor. It's not crashing cause of lack of space or weak video card.
Not at last place, the point of this exact save is to keep generation alive. It started from a specific family and all I need is to keep family tree not wilt. To do that I need alive children, and it's hard when they are keep dying and dying for no reason, one after another. That's why I installed mods. It seems one is fixed, five more bugged.

Try to install Overwatch and ErrorTrap in your game. Find the option "Recover Missing Sims" in the Overwatch in the "Immediately" section. Sometimes it helps with deads and other sims who got lost somewhere in the game. Also, if something is completely wrong in your save, ErrorTrap will give a report during the game. It will be located in The Sims 3 folder, which is located in the Documents. You can share this "Script-Error" here so that local experts can tell what exactly wrong.

Turn off this terrible StoryProgression by EA and install something better instead (SP by nraas or a Awesome mod).
